On April 14-15, 2025, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and President of China, paid a state visit to Vietnam. As the first visit this year, this trip is a milestone for deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Vietnam and promoting the construction of China-ASEAN community of destiny.
XCMG, which has been deeply plowing into the Vietnamese market for more than 20 years, is building a new benchmark of Sino-Vietnamese production capacity cooperation in the fields of infrastructure, energy and mining with the strategy of double-wheel drive of “products + services”, which vividly interprets the practical connotation of the concept of the community of human destiny.
In the port of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, XCMG XCA800-Y all-terrain crane, known as “Iron Man”, completed delivery. This world's largest tonnage wheeled crane has successfully cracked the problem of super-high-rise steel structure lifting by virtue of its core technologies such as 260-meter super-long main boom and intelligent heavy-duty control system. Local customers commented: “From customized program design to on-site installation and commissioning, XCMG team responds to demand 24 hours a day, this full life cycle service is exactly the key to our choice of Chinese equipment.
In Vietnam, XCMG launched the new energy brand “X-Charge MeetGreen” and introduced the XC968-EV pure electric loader. This model adopts the industry's first “three-motor coupling drive + intelligent temperature control system”, achieving an average daily fuel saving of 163 liters and an annual emission reduction of 130 tons in the hot and humid environment of Southeast Asia. As the overseas debut of “Qingshanxing” brand, this conference marks the official landing of Chinese construction machinery green transformation program in ASEAN market.
At the site of a tungsten mine project in Vietnam, three XCMG XDR series of submersible drilling rigs penetrate the super-hard rock layer of F12 grade at a drilling speed of 20m/h. In response to the complex geological conditions, the equipment is equipped with the “intelligent drilling system + adaptive impact control” technology, which controls the drilling accuracy within ±1.5mm. The technical director of the mine said, “The equipment runs continuously for 2,000 hours with zero failure, and the 4-hour response mechanism of XCMG's resident engineers saves 30% of the maintenance cost for the project.”
In an undersea tunnel project in Vietnam, XCMG's concrete spraying truck realized accurate spraying in an environment of 40℃ high temperature and excessive dust concentration through the system of “wireless remote control + intelligent boom”. The operator's feedback: “Traditional equipment requires three people to work together, but now a single person can complete the operation through the remote control, increasing construction efficiency by 40%.” In addition, XCMG complete sets of road equipment is participating in the construction of Vietnam National Stadium, and its intelligent compaction monitoring system can control the road surface flatness error within 1mm.
From 800-ton cranes to new energy loaders, from intelligent down hole drilling rigs to intelligent slurry equipment, XCMG is deeply participating in the construction of more than 20 key projects in Vietnam's transportation, energy, and municipal affairs with 46 types of host products and more than 300 customized solutions. As a multinational mining group's purchasing manager said, “Choosing XCMG is not only about choosing equipment, but also about choosing the competitiveness of the whole industrial chain of China's smart manufacturing.”
